How to convert formula -
Celsius to Fahrenheit (°C to °F)

0 degrees Celsius is equal to 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Negative - 40 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 °F) is equal to negative - 40 degrees Celsius (-40 °C).
In the Celsius scale, the freezing and boiling points of water are 100 degrees apart, the unit of this scale is 1.8 of a degree Fahrenheit.

The temperature T(°F) in degrees Fahrenheit is equal to the temperature T(°C) in degrees Celsius times 9/5 plus 32:

T(°F) = T(°C) × 9/5 + 32

or

T(°F) = T(°C) × 1.8 + 32

Example of calculation

Convert 20 degrees Celsius to degrees Fahrenheit:

T(°F) = 20°C × 1.8 + 32 = 68 °F
